Peggy Seeger

Peggy Seeger is an American-born British folk singer, songwriter and instrumentalist associated with the mid 20th century British folk revival. She combines traditional material with original topical songs that address social and political issues, performing in a direct vocal style often accompanied by guitar and banjo. She is part of the Seeger family of folk musicians and was a longtime collaborator and partner of fellow folk singer Ewan MacColl.
