Max Romeo

Max Romeo (died 2025) was a Jamaican reggae singer and songwriter associated with roots reggae. His music blended soulful vocals with socially conscious and political lyrics, and he was active from the late 1960s, including a key collaboration with producer Lee 'Scratch' Perry in the 1970s.
