Wild Cherry

Wild Cherry was an American band active from 1970 to 1979, known for blending rock, funk, R&B and disco elements into guitar-driven, danceable grooves. Led by guitarist-vocalist Robert Parissi, the group emphasized tight rhythm work and prominent riffs, and is best known for the single 'Play That Funky Music'.
