Warren Zevon

Warren Zevon was an American singer-songwriter known for darkly comic, literate songs that blended rock with folk, country, and blues influences. His work features vivid storytelling about eccentric or morally ambiguous characters, delivered in a raw, gravelly voice and often with piano-driven arrangements. Zevon was noted for his sharp wit and songcraft and remained a distinctive voice in American rock until his death in 2003.
