Vampire Weekend

Vampire Weekend is an American band formed in 2006 and led by singer-songwriter Ezra Koenig. Their music blends indie rock with elements of Afro-pop, chamber pop and baroque pop, often featuring bright, rhythmic guitar lines, layered arrangements and literate, playful lyrics. The original lineup included multi-instrumentalist and producer Rostam Batmanglij along with bassist Chris Baio and drummer Chris Tomson, and the group has explored more orchestral and electronic textures across subsequent albums.
