UGK

UGK was an American hip hop duo from Port Arthur, Texas, formed in 1987 by Pimp C and Bun B and active until 2007. Their sound blended slowed, bass-forward Southern beats with funk and soul influences and street-focused, narrative lyrics, presenting a gritty, Southern perspective that helped shape aspects of Texas and Southern hip hop.
