Tower of Power

Tower of Power is a US band formed in 1967, known for a horn-driven blend of soul, funk, and R&B anchored by a tight brass section and strong rhythmic grooves. Founded by saxophonists Emilio Castillo and Stephen 'Doc' Kupka, the group is noted for punchy horn arrangements, syncopated rhythms, and ensemble-focused performances, with a long history of rotating vocalists and musicians.
