Tom T. Hall

Tom T. Hall was an American country music singer-songwriter known for his conversational, story-driven songwriting and plainspoken lyrical vignettes about everyday life and characters. Active from the 1960s onward, he performed his own material and wrote for other artists, and he was widely regarded for bringing narrative detail and wit to country songwriting. He died in 2021.
