Tom Robinson Band

Tom Robinson Band was a British rock group formed in 1976 and active until 1979, led by singer-songwriter Tom Robinson. Their sound blended punk and new wave energy with rock and power-pop arrangements, featuring direct, often anthemic songwriting, prominent basslines, and guitar-driven performances. The band was notable for politically charged lyrics and visible advocacy of LGBT issues, and they were part of the late 1970s UK punk and new wave scene.
