Tina Turner

Tina Turner was an American-born singer who spent much of her later life based in Switzerland and died in 2023. She rose to prominence as the dynamic lead singer of the Ike and Tina Turner Revue and later established a major solo career. Her music blended rock, soul, R&B and pop, and she was known for a powerful, raspy voice and high-energy stage presence that influenced many performers.
