Throbbing Gristle

Throbbing Gristle was a British band formed in 1975, associated with an abrasive, experimental sound that helped define industrial music. Their work combined electronics, tape manipulation, found sound and confrontational performance art to explore transgressive and provocative themes. They remained active, with breaks and reunions, until disbanding in 2010.
