The White Stripes

The White Stripes were an American rock duo formed in 1997 and active until 2011, comprised of Jack White on guitar and vocals and Meg White on drums. Their music blended garage rock and blues influences with a stripped-down, lo-fi approach, often featuring raw guitar tones, simple drum patterns, and minimal arrangements. They maintained a distinctive red, white, and black visual aesthetic and a minimalist presentation as a two-person band, and are commonly associated with the early 2000s garage rock revival.
