The Walkmen

The Walkmen are a New York City indie rock band formed in 2000, known for a brooding, post-punk influenced sound built around Hamilton Leithauser's distinctive baritone vocals, reverb-heavy guitars and prominent organ and piano textures. Their music combines driving rhythms and vintage instrumentation with a melancholic atmosphere that became associated with parts of the 2000s indie scene.
