The Troggs

The Troggs were a British rock band formed in 1964 and disbanded in 2012, known for a raw, stripped-down garage rock sound built on simple chord patterns and primal, direct vocals by Reg Presley. Their music emphasized blunt rhythms, repetitive hooks, and a lo-fi aesthetic that helped shape later strains of garage rock and proto-punk.
