The Sundays

The Sundays were an English indie pop/alternative rock band formed in 1987 and active until 1997, led by vocalist Harriet Wheeler and guitarist David Gavurin. They are known for chiming, jangly guitar arrangements, Wheeler’s airy, prominent singing, and literate, introspective songwriting that blends indie pop with folk-tinged melodies, often associated with the late 1980s and early 1990s British indie scene.
