The Sugarcubes

The Sugarcubes were an Icelandic alternative rock and avant-pop band active from 1986 to 1992. Their music blended angular, post-punk influenced arrangements with experimental pop textures and playful, theatrical vocals led by Björk, with lyrics in both Icelandic and English.
