The Sonics

The Sonics were an American garage rock band active from 1960 to 1968. They were known for a raw, aggressive sound featuring distorted guitars, pounding drums, prominent saxophone and snarling vocals, and their early recordings are often cited as proto-punk and as an influence on later garage and punk musicians.
