The Osmonds

The Osmonds were an American family band formed in 1959, active until about 1980, built around several brothers who sang tight vocal harmonies and presented a wholesome, family-oriented image. They started with barbershop and country-influenced performances and later embraced pop and soft rock arrangements as their sound evolved, with younger members also pursuing solo and duo projects that expanded the group's public profile. The Osmonds are noted for their role as a sibling vocal act in mid 20th century American popular music.
