The Leaves

The Leaves were an American garage rock band formed in 1963 and active through 1971. Emerging from the Los Angeles scene, their sound featured raw, reverb-tinged guitars, prominent vocal harmonies, and a gritty, energetic approach that linked folk-rock sensibilities with early psychedelic textures; they are also known for recording an early, widely circulated version of the song "Hey Joe".
