The KLF

The KLF were a British electronic duo formed by Bill Drummond and Jimmy Cauty, active from 1988 to 1992. Their music combined sample-based production with house, acid and ambient influences, mixing dancefloor rhythms with pop songcraft and experimental textures. They operated with a conceptual, media-savvy approach and often used pseudonyms and provocative gestures, positioning their work at the intersection of club culture and art practice.
