The Jimmy Castor Bunch

The Jimmy Castor Bunch was an American funk and R&B band led by saxophonist and vocalist Jimmy Castor, active from 1966 to 1980. Their sound blended tight funk grooves, prominent horn arrangements, spoken-word and narrative vocals, and elements of soul and early dance music, often with playful or humorous lyrical themes.
