The Jimi Hendrix Experience

The Jimi Hendrix Experience was a rock trio formed in Great Britain in 1966 and active until 1969, centered on American guitarist and singer Jimi Hendrix with Noel Redding on bass and Mitch Mitchell on drums. Their music blended electric blues, psychedelic rock, and hard rock, and was marked by Hendrix's inventive electric guitar techniques, use of feedback and effects, adventurous studio experimentation, and dynamic live performances focused on improvisation and sonic exploration.
