The Heartbreakers

The Heartbreakers were an American rock band formed in 1975 and active through 1990, associated with the New York punk scene and fronted by guitarist and singer Johnny Thunders. Their sound combined raw, guitar-driven punk energy with rock and roll roots, characterized by short, raucous songs and loose, high-energy performances that influenced later punk and underground rock acts.
