The Good, the Bad & the Queen

The Good, the Bad & the Queen was a British supergroup formed in 2006 and active until 2019, built around Damon Albarn with musicians drawn from The Clash and The Verve alongside drummer Tony Allen. Their music mixed alternative and art rock with touches of dub and Afrobeat, featuring atmospheric arrangements, prominent rhythmic patterns, melodic basslines, and reflective songwriting that often evoked urban British life.
