The Field Mice

The Field Mice were an English indie pop band active from 1988 to 1991. Associated with Sarah Records, their sound combined jangly, melodic guitar pop and soft, intimate vocals with occasional electronic rhythms and layered, shoegaze-leaning textures, moving between twee pop sensibilities and more atmospheric arrangements. They are commonly noted within late 1980s British indie circles for blending delicate songwriting with textural experimentation.
