The Easybeats

The Easybeats were an Australian rock band formed in 1964 and active until 1969, known for a beat-influenced pop-rock sound with driving guitars, catchy melodies, and prominent vocal harmonies; core members included Stevie Wright, George Young, Harry Vanda, Dick Diamonde, and Snowy Fleet, and the songwriting partnership of Vanda and Young later moved into songwriting and studio production work.
