The Dream Syndicate

The Dream Syndicate are an American rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1981 and led by singer-songwriter Steve Wynn. Associated with the Paisley Underground scene, their sound mixes neo-psychedelia and garage rock with loud, feedback-rich guitars and extended, riff-driven arrangements that draw on 1960s and 1970s rock. Their raw, improvisational approach and early work figured prominently in the development of aspects of the 1980s American alternative rock underground.
