The Dismemberment Plan

Formed in 1993 in the United States, The Dismemberment Plan blended indie rock and post-hardcore energy with funk- and dance-influenced rhythms, angular guitar work, and off-kilter song structures. Their songs often use conversational, emotionally direct lyrics and incorporate electronic textures alongside raw rock instrumentation. The band was active through 2015.
