The Delfonics

The Delfonics are an American soul vocal group formed in 1965 in Philadelphia, associated with the development of the Philadelphia soul sound. Their music features smooth, romantic balladry, tight vocal harmonies led by a prominent falsetto lead, and lush orchestral arrangements often linked with producer and arranger Thom Bell. They blend doo-wop rooted harmonies with sophisticated pop-soul production.
