The Dave Clark Five

The Dave Clark Five were a British pop rock band formed in 1958 and active until 1970. Led by drummer Dave Clark and featuring Mike Smith on vocals and keyboards, Lenny Davidson on guitar, Rick Huxley on bass, and Denis Payton on saxophone, they were associated with the early 1960s British pop scene and known for a brisk, beat-driven sound with punchy drums, prominent saxophone lines, and tight vocal harmonies.
