The Cramps
The Cramps were an American band formed in 1976 and active until 2009, fronted by Lux Interior and Poison Ivy. They combined 1950s rockabilly, surf and garage rock with punk energy to create a raw, reverb-heavy sound and a campy, horror B-movie aesthetic, and their approach is associated with the development of psychobilly and garage punk.
