The Chi‐Lites

The Chi-Lites are an American soul vocal group from Chicago, formed in 1964. Their music features smooth lead vocals, rich four-part harmonies and polished arrangements that blend romantic ballads with midtempo grooves and occasional socially aware themes, reflecting the Chicago soul style of the late 1960s and 1970s. Eugene Record was a central singer, songwriter and producer associated with the group during its most prominent years.
