The Animals

The Animals were a British rock band formed in 1963, known for a gritty, blues-influenced sound built around Eric Burdon's distinctive, soulful vocals and organ-driven arrangements. Emerging during the British Invasion, they blended American R&B and folk material with a raw, electric rock approach and underwent lineup changes and intermittent reunions before disbanding in 1983.
