The Allman Brothers Band

The Allman Brothers Band was an American rock band formed in 1969 and active until 2014. They blended blues, country, and jazz influences into a loose, improvisation-friendly rock style associated with Southern rock, and were known for twin lead guitars, dual drummers, extended live jams, and prominent slide guitar work; early members included Duane Allman and Gregg Allman.
