Tampa Red

Tampa Red was an American blues guitarist and singer active in the early to mid 20th century. He was known for his refined guitar technique, including bottleneck slide work and clear single-string picking, and for shaping the sound of urban and Chicago blues guitar. His playing and arrangements influenced the development of later blues styles.
