Talking Heads

Talking Heads were an American band formed in 1974 and active until 1991, led by singer and guitarist David Byrne. They blended new wave and art punk with funk and world music influences, marked by angular guitar figures, tight rhythmic interplay, and a theatrical, cerebral approach to songwriting and performance. The group explored experimental production and worked with producer Brian Eno on several projects, expanding the band’s textural and rhythmic palette.
