T. Rex

T. Rex was an English rock band led by Marc Bolan, formed in 1967 and disbanded in 1977. They evolved from the acoustic psychedelic folk of the early Tyrannosaurus Rex period into a more electric, concise glam rock sound in the early 1970s, characterized by Bolan's distinctive vocal delivery and lyrical imagery, prominent guitar riffs and driving rhythms, and a flamboyant stage persona that became associated with the glam scene.
