Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble

Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble was an American blues rock band formed in 1978, centered on guitarist and singer Stevie Ray Vaughan. Their sound combined Texas blues and electric blues with rock intensity, marked by Vaughan's aggressive, expressive guitar tone, rapid single-note runs and double-stop phrasing, and soulful vocals backed by a tight rhythm section. The band helped bring blues-influenced guitar music to wider audiences in the 1980s and disbanded after Vaughan's death in 1990.
