Stephen Duffy

Stephen Duffy is an English singer-songwriter and the central figure behind the band The Lilac Time. His work blends folk-rooted arrangements with pop songwriting, often featuring acoustic instrumentation, melodic hooks, and literate, narrative lyrics; he has released music both as a solo artist and with band projects since the 1980s, frequently working in a chamber-folk pop vein.
