Spın̈al Tap

Spın̈al Tap is a fictional hard rock and heavy metal band best known from the mockumentary This Is Spinal Tap; portrayed by Michael McKean, Christopher Guest, and Harry Shearer, the group parodies rock conventions with exaggerated stage antics, tongue-in-cheek songwriting, and running jokes such as amplifiers that "go to eleven", and has also performed and released recordings beyond the film.
