Sparklehorse

Sparklehorse was an American band led by singer-songwriter Mark Linkous, active from 1995 to 2010. Their music blended intimate, melancholic songwriting with lo-fi and experimental production, combining folk and indie rock elements with tape textures, samples, and distorted atmospherics. The band was known for its fragile vocal delivery and a distinctive mix of quiet, pastoral moments and noisy, atmospheric arrangements.
