Sophie Tucker

Sophie Tucker (died 1966) was an American vaudeville singer and entertainer known for a bold, brassy delivery and a risqué, comedic stage persona often billed as "The Last of the Red Hot Mamas". Her repertoire blended popular song, blues and early jazz influences with comic patter, and she was a prominent performer in vaudeville, nightclubs and early recorded popular music in the first half of the 20th century.
