Sonny Boy Williamson

Sonny Boy Williamson, often referred to as Sonny Boy Williamson II, was an American blues harmonica player and singer who died in 1965. Active in the mid 20th century, he was known for an expressive, rhythmic harmonica style, a distinctive vocal delivery, and compact narrative lyrics that drew on both rural and urban blues traditions.
