Sonic's Rendezvous Band

Sonic's Rendezvous Band was an American rock group active from 1975 to 1980, rooted in the Detroit rock scene. Their music combined hard rock and garage rock elements with a raw, guitar-driven sound and an emphasis on live performance and extended jams. The band brought together musicians from notable Detroit outfits and is often referenced in discussions of the citys transition from late 1960s hard rock toward the proto-punk and punk styles of the 1970s.
