Snooks Eaglin

Snooks Eaglin was an American New Orleans blues guitarist and singer known for his agile, eclectic fingerpicking and wide-ranging repertoire. His sound drew on New Orleans R&B, traditional blues, jazz, country, and pop standards, delivered with a playful, conversational vocal style and strong rhythmic feel, and he remained a distinctive presence in the New Orleans music scene until his death in 2009.
