Small Faces

Small Faces were a British band formed in 1965 and disbanded in 1978. They combined mod-influenced rhythm and blues with soul-inflected vocals, melodic guitar work and Hammond organ textures, and their later recordings incorporated psychedelic production elements while keeping strong R&B roots. Associated with the 1960s mod scene, they played a role in the development of British rock styles during that period.
