Slade

Slade were an English rock band formed in 1966 and active until 1992, associated with the British glam rock movement of the early 1970s. They are known for a loud, guitar-driven sound, stomping rhythms, and rousing, singalong choruses delivered with a gritty, raspy lead vocal, and their stage presentation often included bold, flamboyant outfits. Over their career they worked in styles ranging from glam rock to harder-edged rock and pub-oriented anthems.
