Saint Vitus

Saint Vitus is an American doom metal band formed in 1980, known for a slow, heavy, riff-driven sound rooted in the Black Sabbath tradition. Their music emphasizes bleak atmospheres, down-tuned guitars, and deliberate tempos, and they are regarded as one of the early groups to help shape the American doom metal style and influence later doom and stoner acts.
