Rose Royce

Rose Royce is an American soul and funk band formed in 1976 and assembled by producer Norman Whitfield. Their sound blends R&B, funk, and disco-influenced arrangements with polished production, prominent strings and horns, emotive lead vocals, and a tight rhythm section, and they are best known for their work on the soundtrack to the film Car Wash.
