Rodriguez

Rodriguez was an American singer-songwriter from Detroit whose music blended folk, rock, and psychedelic influences with socially conscious and observational lyrics. He recorded albums such as Cold Fact and Coming from Reality and developed a strong international cult following, particularly in South Africa, where his work reached large audiences while remaining relatively obscure in the United States for many years. He was the subject of the documentary Searching for Sugar Man and died in 2023.
